IN CONVERSATION brought established and emerging thought leaders to intimate audiences in discussion on: Armed Conflict and HIV transmission (Ba); Misogynoir and Womanist epistemology, an exploration of Linda Brent’s journey to freedom and self-determination (Nash); Sambo ideology in contemporary western societies and the framing of Justice and Beauty (Tate); the Entanglement of botanical and Human wellbeing and histories (Sorhaindo); Racialized communities’ use of digitized communication to negotiate transnational social, economic, and political injustice (Heyward-Rotimi); the role of visually impaired distinguish scholar Dr. Wilfred Cartey in Caribbean Theology (Walker); and the cultivation spiritual practices of self love while navigating grief and loss (Kirk-Duggan).


MENTEES MOVING IN THE WORLD celebrated two mentees from the 2020 – 2022 cohort Delta Wright and Yaryra Ami Tamakloe as they work to transform the world through environmental science and Fashion and Black feminist anthropology.

The life of dancer and wellbeing activist Leonora Stapleton was celebrated through speaking, workshop, consultation engagements at Bridgewater State University, TU Dance, and The Place: London Contemporary Dance.
